Diatabase app released!

We are glad to announce that our first app is finally available on Google Play. After nearly four month we managed to come to a state where we feel ready to release a first version. Altough the app is far away from being finished and our TODO lists are still filled, we are proud of our results so far. We will try to keep up the progress and invest as much time as possible into the remaining work.

If you find a bug, experience strange behavior or if you have any suggestion to improve Diatabase, please don't hesitate to comment below. We are happy about any feedback we get!

First App reaches testing phase

We are glad to announce, that our first Android App release is coming in the near future. We have developed a Diablo 3 Database application called Diatabase, which provides all desirable informations regarding the upcoming dark fantasy/horror-themed action role-playing game Diablo 3 - development by Blizzard. Based on a database server the app can synchronize its local data without updating the installed apk-file in Google Play over and over again. So we are always able to deliver brand-new content for our users after new Diablo patches.
Currently, we are selecting several beta testers to help investigate bugs and improve the overall app experience. The final release in Google Play is only a few more days away.

As our priority lies on the programming of the Android™ App, we chose a pre-built template. In the future, this template is supposed to be replaced by our own design.

The year 2012 - taking gaming anywhere

The extraordinary developments in the field of smartphones - especially in terms of OS and applications - have brought up a lot of new small companies, some of them founded by a single person with interest in entertainment and programming and the wish to be and take part of the market.

holzapps is three guys with a similar aim. As part of the first generation with access to the Internet and communication as we know it today, we feel destined to create a part of it instead of just using it for our own purposes. Since we all never grew up and still keep on playing games - be it on the table or on the screen - what niche could be better to specialize in? And since the whole world goes crazy for smartphones, isn't it just logical to use this platform? Android™ gives everybody the opportunity to create and develop their own ideas and put them out there. We feel that 2012 is the right time to put our ideas out there and see what comes around.
